Projects Publications Blog

I'm a paleontologist with particular interests in biotic interactions and paleobiodiversity databases. Taxonomically, most of my work has focused on either Paleozoic crinoids or Quaternary terrestrial vertebrates.

Currently I'm a postdoctoral fellow at UC Merced, working on a project using public databases and text-mining to revise chronologies for Quaternary vertebrate fossil sites in North America in order to construct species distribution models.

Right now I'm also thinking about the problem of geographic bias in global paleobiological data sets, so if you're interested in that, feel free to email me.
